Exporting business cards database to CSV from BCR for iOS

Question

How to export the business cards database from the application and open it in Microsoft Excel?

Answer

To export business cards in .csv format for opening in MS Excel, please do the following:

  1. Open BCR for iOS.
  2. Tap the Settings mceclip1.png button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap Export to CSV > select MS Excel

  4. The application will generate an email with a BusinessCards.csv file containing the business cards database. Send the BusinessCards.csv file by email to the computer or device.

Normally a CSV file generated in the application can be opened in MS Excel with a simple double-click. If any difficulties with opening the file in the described way occur, follow the steps from the article: How to open a CSV-file with business cards database in MS Excel?

Everytime I export the business card information the entire database is exported. Is there not a way to export from just one group? Exporting the entire database means there are duplicates that have been exported previously which makes importing this data to another program a problem.

I have the same issue as Guy above. Would like to be able to export certain groups and not entire database.
