ABBYY Timeline Cloud License

License information can be viewed under the Account Settings in the Timeline account:

Under the Details tab such information can be found as Owner, Number of users, Number of projects, End date, etc.

Subscription tab shows Status, End date, Plan, Max number of users, Max number of events.

ABBYY Timeline On-Prem

When installing ABBYY Timeline, the license copies to the computer on which Timeline is being installed. Your license determines the Timeline subscription plan. You need to purchase a license update in order to add support for new features, extend the license period, the maximum number of users you can add to your Timeline account, or change other license parameters.

The Subscription Status window can be found by clicking Skill Monitor > Subscription

Cloud License

FlexiCapture Cloud license can be found in the Administration and Monitoring Console > Summary tab.

Note: You do not need to active your Cloud License, because it is activated when your ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud tenant is created.

FineReader Engine 12 for Windows

The License Manager utility (LicenseManager.exe) allows you to manage ABBYY SDK licenses of all types. In the ABBYY SDK 12 License Manager dialog box you can activate, deactivate, or update a license and view the properties of an activated license.

The License Manager utility is installed automatically during a Developer installation or during a Runtime ABBYY FineReader Engine library installation in automatic mode together with the Licensing Service. This utility is accessible through Start > Programs > ABBYY FineReader Engine 12 > License Manager or in the Bin (Bin64) folder. This utility is distributed along with other ABBYY FineReader Engine 12 files allowed for distribution and is used for Runtime Licenses activation. Developers can also use the License Manager utility via the command line to create their own registration utilities.

FineReader Engine 12 for Linux

Managing the licenses is possible both through an interactive console interface and via the command line. To enter the interactive mode, run activatefre.sh without any parameters and select the Manage licenses option, or start Bin/LicenseManager.Console without any parameters. In both cases, you will see the console interface for the License Manager utility.
Important! Activation script must be run under ROOT.

FineReader Engine 12 for Mac

The License Manager utility allows you to manage ABBYY SDK licenses. To start the License Manager, run the activation script activateFREngine.command and select the necessary option in the console. With the help of the ABBYY SDK 12 License Manager you can activate, deactivate, or update a license and view the properties of an activated license.

To find the information about the license, open the program and go to the Help menu > About > License Info, specify the Support ID.

If you have a volume license and the License Manager in use, check the serial number in the License Manager.
