How can you edit Text Areas in FineReader 15 for Mac?

I am a new user and I am stumped.  I am unsure how to edit text areas in an OCR project from a scanned pdf.  The user guide talks about being able to modify:

  • Text Orientation
Specifies the horizontal direction of text.
  • CJK Text Direction
Specifies whether the text is vertical or horizontal.
  • Text Function
Specifies the function of the text in the document (main text, header, footer, footnote, etc.).

But there is no photo in the guide (https://help.abbyy.com/en-us/finereader/15mac/user_guide/textproperties/) of where those buttons are to achieve that.  It only says "use the Text area context menu commands".

It mentions right clicking in this article for example (https://support.abbyy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022260559-Recognizing-vertically-oriented-text-in-FineReader-PDF-for-Mac) but right click doesn't seem to do anything on the Mac version.  Is that accurate?  Does right click indeed not bring up any extra options for Mac?  Is there another way to access those features for Mac?

I bought this program exclusively for the OCR capabilities so would love some help figuring this out because right now it's rather useless without that!
