Getting the below error during the installation of FlexiCapture 12:
"Error 1722. An error occurred with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action Launch_FlexiBrSvc.exe_PerformanceCounter_64, location: C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Servers\FlexiBrSvc.exe"
The following error may appear in several cases:
- The installation distributive is damaged;
- Antivirus or Firewall might be blocking the installation parts;
- Corruption of the Windows performance counter.
- Disable Antivirus and Firewall. It is also recommended to disable UAC (User Account Control). Then, re-download the distribution package file.
- In case the Antivirus and Firewall are already disabled it might be an issue with the Windows performance counters. It prevents FlexiCapture 12 from being uninstalled/updated (as FlexiCapture 12 has its own performance counters).
The general Windows recommendation for this issue is to rebuild performance counters.
