Symptoms

While processing batches no field extraction training is applied and when the user right-clicks corresponding field extraction training batches the following Warning message is received: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\<filename>.tmp is corrupted.

After the warning message IPE is received:

Internal program error:
D:\Build\TeamAgent\_work\2\s\Awl\Src\MenuAwl.cpp, 254.

Cause

After the update from earlier versions to 12.0.4.812, the trained FlexiLayout disappeared for the vendors' training batches.

Resolution

This behavior was fixed in FlexiCapture 12 Release 4 Update 2 Patch 3 (build 12.0.4.827).

So it is recommended to update to the FlexiCapture 12.0.4.827, then upload the project from earlier versions (that wasn't updated to 12.0.4.812) and update it.

In some rare cases, there still might be corrupted batches. In such cases, the proper solution is to re-train the affected field extraction training batches.

If the project contains a lot of training batches and it's hard to determine which were affected the following solution can be used: How to find which field extraction training batches are affected by the ".tmp is corrupted" error or have no layout

After these manipulations, you can re-train all the corrupted batches at once: select all the affected batches, right-click on them, and choose 'Train' from the menu.

Please note: the functionality that allows training multiple field extraction training batches is available since FlexiCapture 12 Release 4 Update 2 Patch 6.
