Symptoms

Adding a Processing Station to the Processing Server, the error message is shown:

Error connecting to the station fc-app-server-name.domainname.local: Could not connect to the station fc-app-server-name.domainname.local. Error: Cannot connect to the Application Server. Error: Cannot connect to 'http://fc-app-server-name' (error code: 12007). (15) Unknown error. Error code: 0x2ee7

Cause

The name of the Application Server can't be resolved without the domain name.

Resolution

Use the FQDN of the Application Server in the Processing Server properties. Example:

http://fc-app-server-name.domainname.local

instead of

http://fc-app-server-name
