Symptoms

  • Windows Application event log error record:
    FlexiBr: Processing Server restart: Error creating an Application Server session: Cannot connect to '%server_address%' (error code: (HTTP 200, 19, 12030)). Unknown error. Error code: 0x2efe.
  • Recently installed Windows Server 2016 updates:  KB5012170, KB5021235, KB890830, KB5017396, KB4589210.
  • FlexiCapture 12 Web Services application pool has 0 Applications assigned to it.

Cause

FlexiCapture files modified by Windows Server 2016 updates.

Resolution

Run ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Server installation repair using the installation media.
