Symptoms

When processing images, this error may occur:

An error occurred while exporting the result: A sharing violation occurred while accessing C:\ProgramData\ABBYY FineReader Server 14.0\PS14WF\Images\....

Cause

This error may occur if you have an anti-virus running and checking the file while FineReader Server 14 is also processing it.

Meanwhile, there is a known issue that this error may occur if you are using builds with a few Updates behind from FRS14 Release 3 Update 7 and below.

Solution

This issue will be fixed in FRS14 Release 3 Update 8 and above.
