How to move a machine hosting a FlexiCapture 12 Processing Station to another FlexiCapture 12 environment?

Answer

  1. Stop the Processing Station Windows Service in the Windows Services (type Services in Windows search > right-click on ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processing Station service > Stop).
  2. Remove the Processing Station from the current Processing Server inside the Processing Server Monitor (go to Stations > right-click on the Processing Station > Remove). 
  3. Add the Processing Station to the Processing Server of the new environment via the Processing Server Monitor (go to Stations > click + on the top menu > enter station name or IP address). 
  4. Start the Processing Station service in the Windows Services (type Services in Windows search > right-click on ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processing Station service > Start).
  5. Restart the Processing Server service (type Services in Windows search > right-click on ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processing Server service > Restart).
