Cause

  • An antivirus or endpoint security tool is blocking FlexiCapture components, which prevents the Protection.dll file from initializing properly.

Resolution

  1. Add FlexiCapture installation folders, logs, and configuration files to the antivirus whitelist/list of exclusions
  2. Launch the FlexiCapture Station again.
