How to disable Windows User Account Control (UAC)?

Answer

To disable UAC, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Control Panel and click the User Accounts control panel item.
  2. Click the Change User Account Control settings link and set the slider in the User Account Control Settings dialog box to Never notify.

  3. To apply the changes made to UAC settings, restart the computer.
