Symptoms

You get the error "Station ... can not be started. Error: There is no connection to station ...." trying to start the newly added Processing station in the Processing Server Monitor.

Cause

A wrong Licensing Server address was used to configure the new station.

Resolution

1. Open the Processing Server Monitor and delete the problem Processing Station.

2. Open the c:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Stations\LicensingSettings.xml file on the Processing Station machine and change the server address:

from

<MainNetworkLicenseServer EndPointName="3020" ProtocolType="TCP/IP" ServerAddress="WRONG_LIC_SERVER_ADDRESS"></MainNetworkLicenseServer>

to

<MainNetworkLicenseServer EndPointName="3020" ProtocolType="TCP/IP" ServerAddress="CORRECT_LIC_SERVER_ADDRESS"></MainNetworkLicenseServer>

Save your changes.

3. On the same machine go to the Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Administrative Tools > Services and restart the ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processing Station service.

4. Open the Processing Server Monitor and add the station again.
