Symptoms

When processing one of the PDF files an internal error occurs with the issue message:

Processing error: Processing station Default Processing Station. Page 1: Internal program error: D:\Build\TeamAgent\_work\1\s\0\OCRT\DocumentAnalysis\Inc\DocumentAnalysis.Quality.inl, 80

Cause

Starting the FineReader Server 14 Release 2 Update 3 table detection has been improved by approximately 4%. The improved table detection feature will be automatically used in all newly created workflows. To use the improved table detection feature in existing workflows, users will need to set the AlwaysUseDefaultDAMode parameter to True in the XML settings.

Resolution

1. Export Workflow and open it in a text editor (for example NotePad++);
2. in the first string (scroll it right) find:

   AlwaysUseDefaultDAMode="false"

3. Change it to:

   AlwaysUseDefaultDAMode="true"

4. Save the workflow and import it to FineReader Server 14.
