Symptoms

Server Error in '/FlexiCapture12/Login' Application. The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

Cause

The unsupported authentication method is enabled in the IIS. 

Resolution

In most cases, Windows Authentication must be used in order to resolve the issue.

In the IIS for Login, Monitoring, Scanning, Server, and Verification disable option ABBYY FlexiCapture Authentification 12 and enable the Windows Authentication:

1. Open IIS > Sites > Default Website > FlexiCapture12.
2. For each page in FlexiCapture12 (Login, Monitoring, Scanning, Server, and Verification) open Authentication settings as on screenshot:

3. Change the status of ABBYY FlexiCapture Authentication 12 to Disabled. 
4. Change the status of Windows Authentication to Enabled.
