FCAdminTools error Cannot connect to "server name" (error code: (HTTP 401,18,0))

Symptoms

When using the CopyDocumentDefinition command in FCAdminTools, the following error is shown:

Connecting to application server 'http://<server_name>/project' using Windows Authentication...
Error: Cannot connect to 'http://server_name' (error code: (HTTP 401, 18, 0)).

Cause

The path to the project is not specified correctly.

Resolution

Check the path to the project on the server, it should be in the following format:

 http://SERVER_NAME/PROJECT_ID/PROJECT_NAME
