Error after upgrading FlexiCapture 12 : Error creating an Application Server session: Incompatible database version.

Symptoms

After upgrading ABBYY FlexiCapture 12, Processing Station fails to start with an error: 

FlexiBr: Processing Server restart: Error creating an Application Server session: Incompatible database version.

Cause

The issue is caused by the wrong version of ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 database.

Resolution

  1. Open Administration and Monitoring Console > Settings > Application Server.
  2. Near the database name, click the Update button, and the database will be updated to the required version.
