Is there a way to customize the Web Verification Station interface? For example, remove buttons like Send To Exceptions, Reject Task, etc.

In order to customize the Web Verification Station interface, please go to the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture12\Verification folder and open the web.config file in any text editor.
