XML parsing error: Incorrect root tag

Symptoms

After copying the document with XML file in the input folder there is error message:

XML parsing error: Incorrect root tag: ns0:Document

Cause

The situation is caused by the FineReader Server feature: XML Ticket

Resolution

Usually, the XML ticket is located in the Input folder together with the images to be processed and contains the parameters for processing the input file.

To resolve the issue, please add *.xml to the input filter of the input tab:

mceclip0.png

In this case, FineReader Server will copy the xml file to the export folder without processing it.
