How to unlock the Document Definition which is being edited by another user in FlexiCapture 12 project?

The Document Definition is locked by another user in the project and cannot be published. Is there a way to unlock it?

Answer

To remove the Document Definition lock in the project, do the following:

  1. Delete the corresponding line in the dbo.TemplateLock in the FlexiCapture database for the specified template ID and user ID:
  2. If possible, delete the lock file <LockId>.checkout in the project local cache folder in %appdata% folder for the affected user.
    The file is located in %appdata%\ABBYY\FlexiCapture\12.0\CheckoutData\<project> for the user locking the Document Definition:
